This is a very fast and sturdy machine with a nice design. It comes with Windows XP Pro SP2 installed, Windows 7 Pro discs for upgrading are included. Several accesories programs can be installed from the hard drive by touching the HP Info Center light (just beside the on/off button) then clicking at the HP software setup icon to select which one to install. The only minor disappointment was that I expected a backlite keyboard but, instead, the laptop has a tiny light at the top of the lid that can be turned on by pushing a button. Probably I misunderstood the information when I read about that at the HP web site. Beside this, I am very satisfied with the product.
